Our office is up in unit 605 of the Techno Citi Building, right above the IDBI Bank in Mahape, Airoli. Being at Astha Infra Engg. (india) Pvt. Ltd. means spending a lot of time looking out at the skyline of Airoli while we work on various engineering plans. The Techno Citi Building is a busy place, and being right above the bank makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming over. The elevator ride can be slow during the lunch rush, so we usually try to time our breaks differently. Inside our unit, it’s mostly just desks piled with drawings and calculators. We aren't big on decorations, preferring to keep the space functional for the kind of technical work we do. The Mahape area has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more buildings popping up every year. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we stay late when a project is nearing a deadline, and the building gets quiet, which is actually a nice time to get things finished. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It's just a bunch of us working through the daily grind in a space that fits what we need. It's a solid place to work, even if the stairs are a bit of a climb when the power flickers and the elevators stop.
