Act Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd.

Act Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Vashi. We’re at 901 in the Cyber 1 building, which is in Sector 30 A. It’s a pretty modern area compared to some other parts of the city. We’re high up, so it’s fairly quiet away from the street noise. Our day-to-day usually involves a lot of technical talk about life sciences and pharmaceuticals. We aren’t scientists in lab coats here, though; this is where the business happens. We deal with the documents, the registrations, and the sales side of things. The office has that typical cubicle feel, but we’ve decorated with a few plants to make it feel less sterile. Most of us take the train into Vashi and then walk over. It’s a routine that works. We spend a lot of time on emails, talking to manufacturers and seeing how we can get products into new markets. There isn’t much drama here. We just show up, do the work, and head home. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, and that’s the biggest crisis of the week. We don’t try to sound more important than we are. We just facilitate the movement of healthcare goods. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail, so we try not to rush things. It’s just us, sitting in Sector 30 A, making things happen day after day without any fancy speeches.
