Shree Sai Metal Shop

Shree Sai Metal Shop is located at Plot No. 876 in Royal Market, right by Sai Chorayah. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of traffic and noise around the shop. We deal in all sorts of metal items, mostly things people need for construction or repairs at home. The shop is basically a large room filled with pipes, rods, and sheets of metal. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually stained with rust or oil by the end of the day. We have a small scale for weighing things and a cutter for when people need specific lengths. People stop by all day asking for this or that, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit jumbled, and it takes a minute to locate exactly what someone is looking for. Royal Market is a good place to be because there are other hardware shops nearby, so people come here specifically for these kinds of materials. We’ve been at this spot for several years and know the regulars who come in. We don't have a computer system; we just write everything down in a big register. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. The shop stays open until late evening when the market starts to quiet down and we finally go home.
