Nashik Grocery

Nashik Grocery is sitting right on Gangapur Road. We are very close to the Akashwani Tower, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The shop has been here for a good while. It is a typical grocery spot where things are a bit crowded. We have bags of grains and rows of jars everywhere you look. During the day, the noise from the traffic on Gangapur Road is constant. You get used to the horns and the buses going by. I usually spend my time behind the counter or checking the stock in the back room. The back room is small and a bit dark, but it holds everything we need. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a place to buy what you need for the kitchen. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with bits of rice or paper, so we are always sweeping. The customers are mostly people living in the apartments nearby. They come in for small things they forgot to buy elsewhere. It is a steady flow of people. We keep the ledger on the desk and write things down as we go. It is not a high-tech operation. Just a local grocery store doing its thing near the tower. We see the same faces every week and that is how we like it. The fan overhead squeaks a bit but it works fine.
