Miester Mining & Agro Industries

Our office is at number 15 in the Shantiban Garden area of Rajeev Nagar in Nasik. It is a decent spot to be in, especially with the garden nearby which makes the surroundings look a bit better than a typical industrial area. We deal with mining and agro industries, which are two very different worlds but they keep us on our toes. One day we are looking at equipment for the fields and the next we are worried about some mining project. Nasik has a good climate for this kind of thing, not too harsh but busy enough to keep the business moving. The office itself is quite plain. We have some maps on the wall and a lot of files that need organizing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites around the region. It’s not a glamorous job, often involving a lot of mud or dust depending on where we’ve been that day. The team here is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the ledgers. We like the Rajeev Nagar area because it’s easy to get to and it’s a bit calmer than the very center of the city. We’ve been here for a while and don't see ourselves moving anytime soon. It is just our home base for all the different things we do. We try to keep it simple.
