We at Mahindra Home Finance are based in Nashik, specifically at Flat No.1 in the Vishwas Society. Our office sits right on Pethe Nagar Road within the Indira Nagar area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from a big city office park. We like the fact that we are in a society where people actually live. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed. Flat No.1 is on the ground floor, which is convenient for everyone. We deal with home finance, so being in a residential flat is almost fitting. The office itself is just a regular apartment that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have a few desks set up in what used to be the living room and files stored where you might expect a pantry to be. Pethe Nagar Road gets its fair share of traffic, especially in the mornings, but Indira Nagar is generally a nice place to be located. We don't have any flashy advertisements out front. People usually find us because they live in the area or were told where to go. It is a straightforward operation here. We spend our time going over finance documents and talking to folks about their housing needs. There’s usually some tea being made and the sound of the road outside as we work through the day's pile of applications.
