Johnson

Being in Nasik is nice because it’s not as crazy as Mumbai. We just go by the name Johnson. We don't have a long, complicated company name or a big board outside. We’ve been working out of our space here for quite a few years now. The office is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that creak a bit when you sit down. We don’t see the point in buying new stuff if the old stuff still works. Most of our day is spent talking to people and handling the routine tasks that keep the business going. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous place in town. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Some days are slow and we spend more time talking about the local news or the weather than actual work. Other days, everyone is busy and there’s no time for a break. We take things as they come. Nasik has a good feel to it, and we like being part of the local scene here. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't use any fancy talk or try to impress anyone who walks through the door. We are just who we are, and that seems to be enough for us. The grapes from around here are famous, but we don't have anything to do with that. We just stay in our lane and keep the paperwork moving along as smoothly as we can manage.
