Gammon India Limited

We are located right on the Vadape-Gonde Road project in Igatpuri. Our office is fairly easy to find because it is right opposite the Traffic Police Chowki and near the old highway Sansar Hotel. Being in Nashik, specifically the 422 403 area, means we see a lot of rain during the monsoon season. The clouds hang very low over the hills here, and it looks nice, but it makes the road work a lot harder for everyone. We spend most of our time at Gammon India Limited dealing with the daily grind of highway construction and maintenance. It is a noisy place with all the trucks and cars passing by on the old highway. The staff here is used to the sound of engines and the smell of hot tar. We grab our meals at the small local places nearby when we get a chance. It is a very hands-on environment. We do not sit behind desks all day; someone is always out checking on something on the road or talking to the crew. The office itself is just a functional space with some old chairs and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We do not have much time for formalities. If a machine breaks or the weather turns bad, we just deal with it. It is a bit rough around the edges, but that is the nature of working on a big road project like this.
