About Yeola Taluka Textiles Association – Textile in Nashik
We operate out of Yeola, which most people know for the famous Paithani sarees. Our association is located at Survey No 1B 155 in Wahid Colony, which is in the Pradeshpura area. It’s a busy part of the Nashik district. Being a textiles association means we deal with a lot of different people from around the taluka. Our office is in a local colony, so it’s surrounded by houses and small shops. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It’s more of a meeting place where people come to discuss the textile trade and the issues we face in Yeola. There are always people dropping in without an appointment. We have a lot of old ledgers and records piled up on the shelves. The room is usually a bit warm, but we have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through Pradeshpura. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us keeping things running. We spend our time helping the local weavers and making sure the association’s business is handled correctly. It’s a lot of talking and listening. The atmosphere is very informal; we usually sit around a big table with some tea. It’s a practical way to support the textile community here. Yeola Taluka Textiles Association has been in this spot for a while and everyone in the trade knows where to find us in Wahid Colony. It’s just how things work in a place like Yeola. We take things as they come.
