V M Auto Parts Pvt Ltd is situated in the MIDC area of Satpur, Nashik. Our plot number is D-37. Nashik has a big industrial zone, and being in Satpur means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories. The air here is a bit different than in Mumbai, but the work is just as heavy. We focus on auto parts, so there is a lot of metal press work and machining going on throughout the shift. The plot is fairly large, which is good because auto parts take up a lot of room. We have a team of people who have been with us for a long time. They know the rhythm of the machines by heart. It is not a fancy place; it is a factory. We have the standard MIDC sheds and the sounds of heavy industry all around us. Mornings are usually spent planning out the production run for the day. We have to deal with the power cuts that sometimes hit the industrial area, which can be frustrating. But when the power is on, the floor is a hive of activity. We don't do much in terms of advertising. Most people in the Nashik auto belt know where we are located.
