Urvi Medicals

Our shop is No 724 in Govind Nagar. It is very close to the Ganpati Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us. At Urvi Medicals, we mostly deal with medicines and basic health stuff that people need every day. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It’s usually me or my cousin behind the counter. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. Some people come in after visiting the temple. We keep the place clean, or we try to anyway. Sometimes the boxes from the distributors get piled up near the door before we have time to put everything away. That’s just part of the job. Govind Nagar is a quiet enough area most days. We keep regular hours. If someone needs something specific and we don't have it right then, we have to look through the catalogs and see when the next delivery is coming. It’s a simple way of working. We don't use any fancy computers for everything, just some ledgers and a basic system. The light in the back room is a bit dim, so we do most of the work up front. We’ve been here for a few years now. People know they can just walk in. There’s no need for anything formal. We just do what we do and try to keep things organized so we can find what’s needed quickly.
