Tulsi Eye Hospital

Tulsi Eye Hospital is located in General Vaidya Nagar, right along the Nashik Pune road. It’s a spot that sees a lot of movement, being on such a major route. We spend our days here dealing with everything related to eyes. The building itself is pretty plain, nothing that would stand out too much if you weren't looking for it. Inside, the air is usually a bit cooler than it is outside on the road. We have our routine of testing vision and checking for any issues. It’s a lot of sitting in dark rooms and asking people if the first lens or the second lens is clearer. It can get a bit repetitive, but that is the nature of the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place around; we just do our jobs. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together in the small back room when there’s a gap in the schedule. You can always hear the traffic from the Pune road, a constant hum of cars and buses going by. We get people from all over the General Vaidya Nagar area and some from further out. We don’t have any fancy promotional deals. We just open up in the morning, see the patients who show up, and try to make sure they can see a bit better when they leave. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day for everyone involved.
