Tulsi Eye Hospital

Tulsi Eye Hospital is out on the Nashik - Poona Road. If you are driving along the Poona Road, you’ll see us there. It’s a busy stretch of highway, so we get a lot of dust and the sound of trucks rumbling past all day long. The hospital isn’t some huge glass building; it’s a more humble setup where we focus on eyes. Inside, we have those machines where you put your chin on the rest and look at the little light. We see a lot of older folks who are having trouble seeing clearly, and they often come in with their family members. The waiting room has some basic chairs and maybe a few old magazines. It’s a very practical environment. We spend the hours checking vision and explaining things in plain English to the people who walk in. There’s no corporate mission statement on the wall, just some charts showing the parts of the eye. Some days are incredibly busy and it feels like we can't catch a break, while other days are quiet enough to actually sit down for a full lunch. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we all know how to handle the equipment without thinking too much about it. It’s just what we do here on Poona Road. We keep the lights on, keep the lenses clean, and try to help the people who come to us from the surrounding area. It's a steady job.
