Our factory is over at A-34 in the Nice area, on Street No.7 in Satpur. It’s an industrial part of town, so the whole neighborhood is full of the sounds of machines and trucks moving parts around. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Inside, it’s mostly concrete floors and the smell of metal and coolant. We have different sections for the work we do, but everything is pretty close together. It gets hot in the summer, especially when the machines have been running all morning, so we usually have the big doors open to catch a breeze. The staff here are locals who have been working with auto parts for years. We aren't much for talking; we just put our heads down and get through the production list for the day. Satpur is a good place for an industry like ours because everything is geared toward making things. We have a small area for the office work, but most of the action happens on the floor. You’ll see scrap metal in the bins and stacks of finished items waiting to be loaded up. It’s a busy environment where things are always moving. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just make sure the machines are oiled and the work is getting done according to the schedule we have. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living, and we’re used to the noise and the pace of it.
