Tatyasaheb Boraste Foundation

We spend most of our time here at the Rushiraj Rivera building in Nashik. It is right near the Makalu Hotel, so if you know that landmark, you know where we sit. It’s on the seventh floor in the A wing. Some days the lift is a bit slow, but the view of the city from up here is alright when the weather isn’t too dusty. There is a lot of paper on the desks and we usually have tea around four in the evening. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just some chairs, a few cupboards full of files, and people coming in to talk about stuff. Tatyasaheb Boraste Foundation is basically just us trying to keep things moving. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The neighbors in the B wing are quiet for the most part, which helps when there is a lot of reading to do. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud because of the hotel being so close, but you get used to the noise after a few months. We don't have a lot of decorative things on the walls, just a calendar and some old photos. It feels like a normal workplace where the kettle is always on. We handle the paperwork and meet whoever drops by. Usually, it’s busy in the mornings. By the time it’s five o'clock, we are usually looking to wrap things up and head home through the Nashik traffic.
