We started this little setup on Shivaji Road because we just really liked baking things that felt right. It’s a busy spot in Malegaon Camp. We spend most of our mornings getting the ovens going and dealing with the heat. It’s not a fancy place, just a room where we get things done. Sometimes the flour gets everywhere and the floor is a mess by noon, but that's how it goes. People come in through the front door and they see us working. We aren't trying to be the biggest group in town. It's just a few of us who know how to handle dough. We've been at 1170 B for a while now. The street outside is usually noisy with traffic and people walking by. If you walk past, you might smell the bread. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. It's just Sweet And Spongy Bakers Association. We keep the counters wiped down as much as we can. It’s hard work and our hands are always tired. Some days are slower than others. We just show up, put on the aprons, and start mixing. It's a plain building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just the usual tools and bags of sugar. We don't spend money on ads. Word just gets around naturally. We like it that way. Most of the time we're just focused on the next batch of bread or cakes. We don't use fancy machines for everything. It's mostly done by hand.
