Swastik Auto Parts

You can find us at C-5 on Hamidai Road, right inside Ishrani Market. We’re across from the Krishna Complex, which is a big landmark around here. The market is always crowded, and finding a place to park can be a real headache, but we’ve been here for years. Swastik Auto Parts is basically a small shop crammed with all sorts of vehicle bits and pieces. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to get things down for a customer. It’s a busy life. We spend the day talking to mechanics and people trying to fix their own vehicles. We don’t have a corporate office or a team of managers. It’s just us. The desk is usually covered in invoices and half-empty tea cups. We try to keep things organized, but when three people are asking for different things at once, it gets a bit hectic. We like the energy of the market, even if it gets exhausting by the end of the week. There’s no mission statement on the wall, just some old calendars and a list of phone numbers for suppliers. We just focus on having the right parts in stock when someone needs them. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We’ve become friends with many of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tight community where everyone knows each other.
