If you are looking for us, we are tucked away behind the Kashish Hotel in Rane Nagar. Shop No. 2 in the Anuradha Apartment building. It’s not on the main road, so it’s a bit quieter than the rest of the neighborhood. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most mornings start with moving boxes around and checking the inventory lists. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. The hotel nearby is a good landmark because everyone knows it. Our space isn't very big, so we have to stay organized or we can't find anything. We trade different goods depending on what's needed. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to stay back and wait, which is frustrating but part of the job. Rane Nagar is growing fast. There are new buildings coming up all the time. We just keep doing our thing in this little shop. It’s honest work. Nothing fancy about the walls or the desks. Just desks, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers. You get used to the noise of the traffic from the main road. It’s a decent place to work. We know the neighbors and they know us. That makes the day go by easier. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but we just ignore it and keep working.
