Sonawane Hospital

You can find us on the first floor of the Maratha Mandir Annex, right on M G Road. This is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of energy and noise coming up from the street. Being on the first floor, we have a good view of the traffic, but we stay focused on what’s happening inside. The hospital takes up a decent amount of space with several beds and a small reception area. It’s not a brand-new building, so the floors have some scuffs and the layout is a bit unusual in places. We handle a variety of medical needs here. From minor injuries to people staying overnight, we stay pretty occupied. Our nurses are usually running back and forth between the pharmacy and the patient rooms. We keep the files organized in a big cabinet behind the main desk. M G Road is always packed, so finding a spot to park can be a bit of a headache for our visitors. We tell people it’s best to take a rickshaw if they can. We aren't a high-end luxury hospital; we are a place where people come to get better. We've got a small balcony where the staff sometimes takes a break to get some air. It’s a busy, working hospital in an old part of the city. We just do our best every day. The ceiling fans keep things cool enough even in the summer.
