Snehal Hospital

If you go down to Ranapratap Chowk, you will find us there. Snehal Hospital has been sitting on this corner for a long time. It is a familiar place for people living nearby. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just the name on the front of the building. Inside, it's usually a bit of a rush. There are always charts to be filled out and patients to check on in the wards. The hallways are narrow and we have to step aside for the stretchers sometimes. We see people coming in for all sorts of reasons. Some just need a quick consultation, while others have to stay for a few days to recover. The air always smells a bit like cleaning supplies, which I guess is a good thing for a hospital environment. Our staff stays busy, often eating lunch while standing up or finishing notes in the corners of the rooms. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going as much as we can to stay cool. Being at the chowk means it is easy for people to find us, even if they aren't from this exact part of town. We just do our work, day in and day out. It’s a plain building with a lot of history in these walls. We don't talk much about ourselves; we just focus on the people walking through the door. It’s a simple setup but it serves the neighborhood well enough.
