Sitakant Machines International

Sitakant Machines International is located at Shop No. 70 in the Cooper Building. This is the 6th Khumbharwada area, near Trimbak Parshuram, and if you know Mumbai, you know how tight these spaces are. The building is old, with narrow stairs and walls that have seen a lot of years. Our shop is packed with parts and machinery, so there isn't much room to walk around once you step inside. We spend most of our time tinkering with things or talking to customers who come in looking for specific parts. It’s noisy outside with all the local trade, and the smell of grease and metal is pretty much always there. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the machines well. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we're doing. It’s a very practical way to work. We don't have a website that we update or any fancy brochures. People usually just find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to Khumbharwada for years. We keep a logbook for all the orders, and the pages are a bit worn at the edges. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to make a living. We open early because that’s when the street is most active, and we stay until the work for the day is finished.
