Shree Sumangal Masale

Running Shree Sumangal Masale out of Plot No-9 in Veer Savarkar Nagar is a full-time job for us. We are located right off Satana Road, quite close to the Satana Naka area. It’s a decent spot for a business like ours because people know the neighborhood well. The masale business takes up most of our hours. We spend our mornings getting the spices ready and the afternoons are usually for packing. It's not a glamorous setup, just a practical space where we work hard. Sometimes the traffic near Satana Naka gets a bit heavy, but it doesn't bother us much once we are inside the gate at Veer Savarkar Nagar. We have a small team and everyone knows what they need to do. We don't spend money on big signs or posters. Mostly, word gets around by itself. It gets quite warm in the summers here but we just keep the fans going and get on with the grinding and mixing. Dealing with spices means you carry the scent home with you, which my family doesn't always love. We’ve been at Plot No-9 for some time now and it feels like home. We don't have a mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just want to make sure the work is done right before the sun goes down. It’s a humble place and we are just regular people making a living on Satana Road. That’s all there is to it.
