We are located at Plot No. F-71 in the M.I.D.C. Industrial Area of Ambad. Being in an industrial zone means it’s not the prettiest place to visit, but for a courier service, it makes a lot of sense. Shree Maruti Courier Service is always humming with some kind of activity, whether it’s the early morning sorting or the late evening dispatches. The office is basically just a big room with a lot of scales, scanners, and piles of envelopes waiting to go out. We don’t have fancy furniture or carpeted floors because they’d just get ruined with all the boots walking through. Most of us who work here are from the local area around Nashik, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. There’s always a truck backing in or a motorbike pulling out. It can get pretty chaotic when there’s a big shipment, but we managed to find a system that works for us over the years. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just take things from one place and make sure they get to the next. Sometimes the rain slows us down or a vehicle breaks down, and we just have to deal with it and keep moving. It’s a lot of physical work and paying attention to small details like zip codes and house numbers.
