Shiv Sankalp Hardware & Traders

Out here on the Sinner Shirdi Road, things move at their own pace. We are located at Survey No.247/3 in the Gowli Mala area, right near Wavi Wej. It’s a good spot because the road stays busy with pilgrims and farmers moving their goods. Shiv Sankalp Hardware & Traders started because we saw a lot of folks needing tools but having to go all the way into the main town for them. We have a lot of farming supplies and basic construction stuff like hammers and pipes. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually pull the shades down a bit to keep the shop cool. It’s mostly family running the place. My brother handles the accounts and I look after the customers who come in. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. The shop floor is concrete and it’s usually covered in a bit of grit from the road. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while we cut their wire or weigh out the bags of nails. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except when the harvest season starts and everyone is in a huge hurry to get their equipment fixed. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just sell the hardware that people in this part of Sinner actually use every day. It works out for everyone in the end.
