H. M. Buildcon Company

We have our office for H. M. Buildcon Company on the second floor of Paradise Plaza. It’s right on the Nasik-Pune Road, near Shinghada Talav. If you’re driving past the pond, you’ll see the building easily enough. We’ve been in this office for a few years now. It’s a decent space, though the stairs can be a bit much if the elevator is acting up again. We spend most of our time looking at plans or talking to people on the phone. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work we chose. We have a couple of desks and a lot of rolled-up drawings sitting in the corners. Sometimes the traffic noise from the main road makes it hard to concentrate, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We deal with a lot of different people, from site workers to suppliers. There’s always something that needs fixing or a permit that needs checking. We don't wear suits unless we absolutely have to. Most days it’s just jeans and shirts. We prefer it that way. It feels more real. Being near Shinghada Talav is nice for a quick walk when we need a break from the screen. We just handle one project at a time and try to stay organized.
