We operate out of Plot No. 28 A-17 in the Flatted Building. Since it’s a flatted building, we don’t have as much space as the big warehouses, so we have to be smart about where we put things. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs or waiting for the lift. We do various types of assembly and small-scale work here. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps over the workbenches. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment of components arrives. We have to stack boxes nearly to the ceiling sometimes. We try to keep the noise down so we don't bother the neighbors too much, but it's an industrial building anyway. Usually, there are three or four of us working at the main table. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. We don't have a website or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or just because they’re in the same building. It's a simple operation. We check the pieces one by one before we pack them into the cartons. We don't have a delivery van, so we usually call a local rickshaw guy when things are ready to go out. It works for us. The building can be cold in the winter and stuffy in the summer, but we just open the windows and keep moving. It's just how we get through the workday.
