Sarita Accounting

Nashik is a nice place, especially around Raviwar Peth. Our spot is at 570 Shani Lane. It’s one of those older parts of town where the lanes are a bit tight and everyone seems to know everyone else. Sarita Accounting is tucked away here, away from the big main roads. The building has been around for a long time. Inside, things are pretty basic. We have our desks pushed up against the walls to make more room for the filing cabinets. There is a lot of paper everywhere, mostly because that’s just the nature of what we do. The light in the morning comes through the small window and hits the dust on the old ledgers. It’s not a corporate office with fancy lights or expensive carpets. Usually, you’ll find us just sitting here with a cup of chai, trying to make sense of the day's tasks. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by a delivery truck, and you can hear the drivers shouting, but we just keep our heads down. It’s a quiet kind of work most days. We don’t have a big sign outside, just enough for people to find us if they’re looking. Shani Lane has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become part of it over the years. It’s just us, the calculators, and the occasional visitor who drops by to leave some folders or just to say hello.
