Santoshkumar Dhoot Research And Development Foundation

Our setup is in Deolaligaon, right on D.M. Road. We work out of Gurujyot Housing Society in Flat A-12. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and a workspace for the Santoshkumar Dhoot Research And Development Foundation. We spend a lot of our time looking into different ways to improve things, whether it's local farming or small-scale tech ideas. Research sounds like a big, formal word, but for us, it just means asking questions and trying to find better ways to do everyday things. We have a few computers and a lot of notebooks scattered around the room. It’s not always organized, but we know where everything is kept. The neighbors are used to us being here by now and don't mind the activity. Sometimes we stay up late discussing new ideas over cups of coffee. It’s a small group, and we’ve all known each other for a long time, which makes the work easier. Deolaligaon is a good place for this kind of work because it’s a bit away from the main city rush of Nashik. It gives us space to actually think. We aren't a big corporation with huge funding. We just take it one project at a time and see what actually works. Sometimes things don't go as planned, and we have to start all over. That’s just part of the process. We value honesty and hard work more than anything else.
