Sanjari Textile

Sanjari Textile is tucked away on Eqbal Road in Malegaon. Our address is 860 42, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here. We deal in all sorts of fabrics and textiles. Malegaon is known for this kind of work, so we are just one part of a much bigger tradition. Our days are spent moving rolls of cloth and making sure orders are ready for whoever is coming to pick them up. It’s heavy work and the shop gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working with the materials we have. People come to us when they need specific types of cloth for their own projects or shops. We've been in this same spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The noise of the looms and the bustle of Eqbal Road is just part of our daily life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a textile business trying to do a good job with the fabric we handle. Sometimes the floor is covered in threads and scraps, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working hard. We like the local feel of the place and knowing the other shop owners who work nearby.
