Samarth Masale

Out here in the village of Lonarwadi, things move a bit slower than in the city. Our place, Samarth Masale, is near Ganeshpeth in the Sinnar Taluka of Nashik district. It’s a rural spot, surrounded by fields. We have the post office nearby, which is handy. Most of us here grew up in this area, so we know the land and the people. We spend our time processing masales. It’s a dusty job, and the air is always full of different scents. You get used to it after a few days. The building we work in is solid but basic. We don’t have fancy office chairs or air conditioning. We just open the windows and let the breeze in. In the summer, it gets quite hot, but we manage. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. We just know what we need to do to get the product ready. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just village life. People stop by to chat or ask for things. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We take pride in what we do, even if we don't talk about it in a fancy way. It’s just honest work in a quiet part of Nashik. We’ve been here at Lonarwadi for a long time, and we plan to stay. It’s home to us, and the business is just part of that life. It is just the way we live and work here in the village.
