Safety Officer(Hse)

I go by Ajay Prakash Deore and I live over in Dabhadi, which is in the Malegaon taluka of Nasik. My father is Prakash Abhiman Deore, and we’ve been in this area for a long time. My work involves being a Safety Officer, or what some call HSE. It’s basically making sure everything on a job site follows the safety rules so nobody gets hurt while they are working. Living in a place like Nasik, you see a lot of different kinds of work happening. I usually travel out from Dabhadi to wherever the work is. I don't have a formal office with a secretary or anything fancy. Most of my business is done right there on the site or at my kitchen table in the evenings. I carry a lot of forms and checklists in my bag. People around here know me as a regular guy. I’m not trying to be some big corporate boss. I just want to make sure that when a person goes to work, they come back safe at night. It’s a simple goal but it takes a lot of attention to detail every single day. Sometimes I have to be the bad guy and stop work if things look risky. It doesn't make me popular with everyone, but it's necessary.
