Our place, Rushabh Motors Pvt. Ltd., is right at 294 on the Mumbai Agra Road. We are specifically at Pathardi Phata, which is a spot where there is always a lot of movement. Being on a major road like the Mumbai Agra one means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of trucks and cars going past is just part of the background for us now. It can get quite dusty with all that traffic, so we are constantly wiping things down. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. We have a good group of mechanics and staff who have been with us through plenty of busy seasons. It isn’t always perfect; sometimes parts are late or the weather makes everything move a bit slower, but we manage. We’ve seen Pathardi Phata change a lot since we first started here. There are more buildings now and way more cars than there used to be. Most days are spent under hoods or talking to people who stopped in because they had trouble on the road. We don't have a big fancy waiting room with expensive coffee, just a few chairs and some old newspapers. We prefer it that way because it feels more like a real garage. People know where to find us when they are heading toward Mumbai or coming back. We just try to stay honest with the work and get people back on their way.
