Royal Inks and Equipments Pvt Ltd is based at Asher Estate in Upnagar. We have units 3 and 4 in the Varun building. It’s a place where we deal with a lot of chemicals and machinery for printing. The smell of ink is something you just get used to when you work here. It’s a family-run kind of vibe even though we are a private limited company. We take care of the equipment side of things too, so if a machine breaks down, we are usually the ones looking at the gears. The estate is a bit older, but it serves us well. We’ve got enough room for the supplies and the tools we need. It’s not a place for fancy meetings; most of the talk happens right there on the shop floor or in the small office area. People in Upnagar know where we are if they need supplies for their printing jobs. We try to keep a good stock of what people usually ask for, though sometimes we run out of the weird colors. It’s a lot of lifting heavy containers and making sure the equipment is calibrated right. We don’t have a marketing team or anything. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and know our way around an ink mixer. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the floor gets messy but we clean up before heading home.
