Down in the Satpur MIDC, specifically in the Nice Area at A-20, that’s where you’ll find our ink shop. We’ve been in Nasik for quite some time. Making ink is a messy business, to be honest. Our hands are usually stained with some color or another by the end of the shift. We also handle the equipment side of things, so there’s always a machine being taken apart or put back together on the floor. It’s not a place for clean clothes. The guys here are used to the smell of chemicals and the sound of the mixers. We have a small area where we keep the finished bottles and the spare parts. It’s organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don’t bother with big slogans or fancy promises. We just mix the ink and fix the machines. People in the area know us, and we know them. Sometimes a neighbor from another factory drops by for a chat or to borrow a tool. That’s just how it works in Satpur. We like the work we do. It’s interesting to see the different colors come together. We just try to do a decent job every day and make sure the equipment we send out actually works like it’s supposed to. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with it. No need for anything more complicated than that.
