We operate out of E-52 in the M.I.D.C. area of Satpur, right here in Nashik. Being in an industrial zone like this means there’s always noise and movement around us. We’ve been making electronic components for a long time now. It’s a bit different from a regular shop because everything we do is quite small and detailed. You have to have steady hands and good eyes to work with these boards and circuits. The building itself is an older one, but it holds everything we need to get the job done. Sometimes the power flickers during the monsoon season, which can be a real headache when you're mid-assembly. We have a routine that we stick to, starting early in the morning before the heat really sets in. Most of the staff here have lived in Maharashtra their whole lives, so we’ve got a good local crew. Ratnaparkhi Electronic Ind. Pvt. Ltd. isn't a place for people who want a quiet, clean desk job. There's always some machine humming or a soldering iron heating up somewhere. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything leaving our door is put together right. It's practical work that requires a lot of concentration. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. We’re here to build electronics, and that’s pretty much what takes up all our time. We just keep our heads down and work.
