Rahe Travels

We are located at the Mahanagar Palika Bhavan over on Nashik Road. It’s a busy spot near the Shivaji Putala, which most locals use as a landmark when they are trying to find us. Being on Station Road means there is a constant flow of people and vehicles going past the office all day long. It’s a bit of a noisy area, but it keeps us on our toes. The office itself is just a simple space where we keep our files and take care of the daily travel bookings. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that, just what we need to get through the day. Sometimes the street gets blocked up with traffic, especially near the statue, which can be a bit of a headache. We’ve been here in the 422101 area for a while, so we know most of the people who work in the nearby buildings. It’s a very local way of doing things. We open up the shutters in the morning, dust off the desks, and start taking calls. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being in the middle of everything on Nashik Road. Most of our visitors are people who happen to be passing by on their way to the station or folks who live nearby. We just handle the requests as they come in and try to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
