Radhesham Hospital

Our place is on the first floor of the Market Commited Building here in Dindori. Being in the market area means we are right in the middle of everything. You can hear the vendors and the cars outside throughout the day. It is a bit of a climb up to the first floor if you aren’t used to it, but it gives us a good view of the street below. We’ve been in this building for some time now. The rooms are basic, just what you need for a hospital setup. We have the usual equipment and some benches for people to sit on while they wait. Dindori is a small enough place that you end up knowing a lot of the families who come through the door. I spend a lot of time organizing files and making sure the supplies are where they should be. It is not the quietest spot to work, especially on market days when the noise from downstairs really picks up. We just do our thing and try to keep the place clean and ready for whoever needs us. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to get everything done, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local hospital where people can come when they aren't feeling well. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There’s always someone coming up the stairs with a question or a concern.
