Down at 189, Mahatma Nagar, you’ll find us at Precision Forging And Stamping Pvt. Ltd. The name sounds a bit formal, but we’re just a regular shop where we hit metal into shapes. Forging is loud work, so the neighbors in Mahatma Nagar probably know we're here even if they've never stepped inside. We’ve got some big hammers and presses that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some days the shop floor is so hot you can barely stand it, but that's just the nature of the business. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it's just a few of us making sure the dies are lined up right and the stamps are hitting where they should. It’s a lot of physical work. We have a small office area where we keep the ledger and the phone, but most of the action happens out on the floor. People come to us when they need specific metal parts made, and we do our best to get them out on time. Sometimes the material delivery is late, which throws a wrench in the whole week, but we catch up eventually. We don't try to look more important than we are.
