You can find us at M-8 in the M.I.D.C. Ambad area. It’s a busy industrial zone and we’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The building is mostly taken up by the shop floor where the pumps are put together. There’s always a faint smell of oil and metal in the air, which I guess is normal for a place like this. We spend our mornings going over the technical drawings and making sure the parts for the metering pumps are all laid out correctly. It’s not the quietest office because of the machinery running nearby, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. Some days are slower than others, especially when we are waiting for a specific part to arrive from a supplier. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we see the same faces every single morning at the gate. Ambad is a good location for us because it’s easy for the transport trucks to find the M-8 plot without getting lost in the city traffic. We don't really do much in terms of decorating the place; it’s all very practical with workbenches and tool racks everywhere. We just come in, do the work that needs doing on the pumps, and make sure everything is ready for the next shift. It’s a steady way of life and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighboring units.
