Phade Hospital

Phade Hospital is right in the middle of Athwadi Bajar in Manmad. Since we are located in the bazaar area, the noise from the market is a big part of our daily life. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the motorcycles buzzing past the front door all day long. It is a very local spot, and most of the people who come in are from the nearby villages or the town itself. The building is simple and doesn't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy carpets. We have basic rooms and a small area where people wait their turn. The floors are made of that old stone that stays cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We know a lot of the families who come here because Manmad isn't that big of a place. Sometimes someone will bring us some fruit from the market as a thank you. We keep our records in big bound books and use an old clock on the wall to keep track of the time. It gets very dusty because of all the activity in the street, so we are always cleaning the windows. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been here for years. It’s a quiet life inside the hospital, even if the bazaar outside is shouting. We just do our best to help the folks who walk through the door with their various problems and concerns.
