Suchde Perfumery Works

Suchde Perfumery Works is based out of the Suchde Houses on Hirawadi Road in Panchvati. It is a place that you can usually smell before you even see it. We work with all kinds of scents and oils here. It’s not a modern factory; it’s more of a traditional setup where we mix things and package them up. The air inside the building is always thick with the aroma of sandalwood, jasmine, or whatever we happen to be working on that day. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but we find it pleasant enough. We’ve been in this location for a long time, and the building itself has seen a lot of history. Most of what we do is fairly hands-on. We don't use big automated machines for everything. Instead, we rely on our own hands and noses to get the mixtures right. People in Panchvati know us as the family that makes the incense and perfumes. We sell to local shops and also to individuals who stop by the house. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the busy roads nearby. We don't have a big sales team or a fancy office. We just spend our hours in the workroom, making sure the bottles are filled and the packets are sealed. It’s a trade we’ve kept going through the years, and it keeps us busy enough. The work is steady and it feels good to see people using what we make.
