Our place is at M- 95 in the Ambad Midc area, right in the middle of all the other factories. Metro Polymers Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for years. If you walk inside, the first thing you notice is the smell of heated plastic and the constant hum of the machines. It’s a big space but it feels small because of all the bags of raw material piled up against the walls. We spend the day watching the output and making sure the settings are right. Ambad is a busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of traffic on the main roads outside. We have a small office tucked in the front where we keep all the paperwork and files, but most of us are usually out on the floor. It’s a bit messy with scraps and packing tape, but that is just how it goes when you are making things. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just the owners and the staff trying to keep the production lines moving without any major breakdowns. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep an eye on the clock and the inventory until the shift ends and it is time to lock up.
