Akshay Industries

We operate Akshay Industries out of Plot No. 130 in the Sinnar Taluka Cooperative Industrial Estate over in Malegaon. It is a decent-sized plot with enough room for our manufacturing equipment and a small storage area. The estate itself is quite busy, and we have good neighbors who have been here as long as we have. We mainly do industrial fabrication and part assembly. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day, so we have to sweep up every evening before heading home. We have a few welding machines and some drills that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine. The office is just a small cabin partitioned off with some plywood. We don't really have a receptionist or anyone to answer the phones constantly, so we just pick up when we hear it ringing over the noise of the machines. It’s a practical setup where everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to finish the work on time and keep things moving for the people who buy from us. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, so we keep some flashlights handy. It is just a regular local workshop where we put in our hours and do the best we can with the tools we have. We keep the grease and the noise as part of our daily life.
