Maatoshree Clinic

Maatoshree Clinic is right here in Igatpuri. If you live around here, you know it’s a small town where everyone kind of knows each other. The clinic is a simple place, just a few rooms and a waiting area. We open up early in the morning because people like to get their check-ups done before they start their day. Igatpuri can get quite rainy and misty, so sometimes the floor gets a bit damp from people’s umbrellas. We have some old wooden chairs in the waiting room that have been here for years. They’re sturdy, though. The doctor’s office has a big desk and a lot of books on the shelves. We don't have any of those fancy digital screens; we mostly just use paper and pens for everything. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I guess, but it works for us. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, and you can see the local kids playing or people going to the market. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits in the back for when there’s a break in the patients. It’s not a big city clinic with a dozen staff members. It’s just a local spot where you can come when you’re feeling under the weather. We try to keep the place tidy, but with the Igatpuri mud outside, it’s a constant battle.
