Our workshop is located at C-13/1 in the MIDC area of Satpur, Nashik. It’s a standard industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of concrete. The weather in Nashik is usually pretty good, which makes working in the shop a bit easier than in the humid cities. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. Much of the heavy lifting and assembly happens right here on the floor. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us wear work clothes that can handle a bit of grease and dust. There is a small office space partitioned off where we keep the files and answer the phone. You can usually hear the sound of tools and the occasional truck backing up to the loading area. No big marketing department exists here. People find out about us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while driving through Satpur. A regular schedule is kept, starting early and wrapping up by evening. On Saturdays, we usually clean up the place and get ready for the next week. It’s just a plain, honest workspace where we do our best to stay organized and get the jobs finished. There isn't much more to it than that. We just enjoy the work and the company of the people here at M G Electrica.
