Lohiya Dry Fruit & Spices

You can find us at Shop No. 8 in the Suchdev Arcade. We are on Subhash Road in the Shikhare Wadi area, right across from the Exclusive Residency. Lohiya Dry Fruit & Spices is a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. The shelves are filled with sacks of nuts and jars of different spices. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the scent of cardamom and roasted almonds. It’s a narrow space, so it can get a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We spend our time weighing out portions and bagging them up for the customers who stop by. Sometimes the traffic on Subhash Road makes it hard for people to park, but they still manage to find their way to us. We aren't a big chain store or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where we try to keep things organized. We do a lot of cleaning because dust from the spices settles on everything. My brother and I usually run the counter, and we know most of the people from the residency across the street. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just know we are here in the arcade. We keep a simple notebook for our accounts and try to stay on top of the stock so we don't run out of the popular items. We often sit on small stools behind the counter when it’s quiet.
