Lilawati Clinic

We’ve been here at Shop No. 2 in Navkar Plaza for a while now. Kamatwadi Road gets pretty busy during the day, so there’s always something going on outside our door. It’s a straightforward setup. People come in when they aren't feeling well or just need a quick check. Most of the folks who stop by are from right here in Nashik or live just down the street. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, the floors get dusty pretty fast. My desk is usually covered in papers and files because we still do a lot of things the old way. It’s just how we work. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if a few families show up at the same time, but people usually don't mind chatting while they wait. We’ve got a couple of chairs that have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough. The light in the afternoon hits the front window quite hard, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down to keep it cool inside. It’s not fancy, just a regular clinic where we look after the neighbors. We know most of the people by name now, which makes the days go by faster. If you’re walking down Kamatwadi Road, you’ll see our sign right there near the entrance of the plaza. We’re usually here until late evening when the traffic finally starts to thin out.
