Life Care Hospital

Being right on the Mumbai Agra Highway at Likha Nagar means we see a lot of people passing through at all hours. Shraptshungi Complex is easy to find, which helps since the highway is always packed with trucks and cars. It gets quite dusty outside because of all the construction and the constant traffic, but inside the hospital, we try to keep it as quiet as possible for the patients. We are just a small team here at Life Care Hospital and we’ve seen Navi Mumbai change quite a bit over the years. Some days it is very quiet and we just sit and talk in the break room, and other days everyone seems to come in at once and it is a bit of a mess. We don’t use fancy digital systems for everything; a lot of our work is still done on paper because that’s what we are used to doing. The staff mostly lives nearby in Navi Navi, so we walk or take the rickshaw to get to work. It is just a regular place where people come when they don’t feel well or need a quick check-up. We don't have those big advertisements or shiny posters. Most people find us because they live in the complex or saw the sign from the road. It’s a very practical setup. We handle the usual stuff like fevers or checking blood pressure for the elderly. There’s always someone at the front desk.
