Krishna Autocomp, Nasik

Krishna Autocomp is located at D-58 in the M.I.D.C. area of Ambad, which is in Nasik. This is a heavy industrial zone, so the whole place is focused on manufacturing and hard physical work. Our facility is not something you would ever see in a magazine. It is a purely functional space filled with loud machines, piles of metal scraps, and that distinct smell of machine oil that never really goes away. We make various auto components, which means the work requires a lot of precision but it also creates a lot of noise throughout the day. The floor is made of thick concrete and the roof is built high to try and keep the afternoon heat from getting too unbearable for the workers. We have a very dedicated crew of people who really know their way around the lathes and the presses. Most of us have been working in the Nasik industrial scene for many years now. We are not big on having long meetings or making fancy presentations to anyone. We just take the technical drawings, set up the machines, and get to work producing the parts. It is very straightforward work that needs a lot of quiet attention. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend several hours fixing them, but that is just part of the daily routine. Ambad is a tough area and we fit right in with the rest.
