Komawar Hospital

If you find yourself on Jail Road over in the Nashik Road area, you might see Sarvodaya Apartments. That is where we are located. Komawar Hospital is basically inside that complex. It is a bit different being in an apartment building, but it works for us. The neighbors know us well by now. We see a lot of people from the local apartments coming in. The Nashik Road traffic can be quite something during the evenings, so you can hear the horns from the windows. Our space is not huge, but we have partitioned it off into different rooms. The paint in the lobby is a pale yellow, which I think was supposed to be calming but it is just yellow. There is a small desk where I sit to take names down. Sometimes the elevator in Sarvodaya Apartments acts up, so people take the stairs to get to us. It is just a regular part of the day. We have some plants in pots near the entrance, though they do not always get enough sunlight. It is a steady flow of people from the morning until we close up at night. Working on Jail Road means things are always moving. We just keep the files organized as best we can. It gets a bit cramped when several families arrive at once, but we just deal with it. It is a plain, honest place to work at Komawar Hospital. We just keep our heads down and do the paperwork.
